Mildred ISD is seeking a highly motivated educator to join the Mildred High School team as an Assistant Boys Coach and High School Teacher. We are looking for someone who is committed to building strong relationships with students, maintaining high expectations, and contributing positively to both our academic and athletic programs.
At Mildred ISD, we take pride in developing well-rounded students and fostering a culture of Eagle Excellence in the classroom and in competition.
Teaching Duties:
• Provide high-quality instruction in assigned subject area based on certification
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to TEKS and district expectations
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback
• Maintain a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Coaching Duties:
• Assist with the Mildred ISD boys athletic program (sport assignments based on need)
• Support the head coach with practices, game preparation, and program organization
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship
• Ensure compliance with UIL and district expectations
• Assist with supervision, travel, and equipment management

Requirements
• Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• CDL (or willingness to obtain) preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Knowledge of UIL rules and expectations
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to the overall success of the campus and district
