Mildred ISD is seeking a passionate and engaging teacher to join our team.
Primary Purpose
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction.
* Create a positive and safe classroom environment.
* Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support student success.
* Participate in professional development and campus activities.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the campus principal.

Requirements
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
* Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate certification for the assignment (enrollment in a approved teacher preparation program may be substituted.)
* Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices.
* Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
* Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
