Yearbook
Students must apply and be accepted into the yearbook program, generally after their 8th or 9th grade year. The Eagle Yearbook staff has a strong tradition of excellence and staff members take seriously the responsibility to preserve and record the memories of our school district. Yearbook staff members use a variety of business, journalistic, and technological skills to market, promote, manage finances, sell advertising, photograph events, and create the yearbook. Meeting strict publishing deadlines, working outside of the classroom to cover events, and staying late to get pages done, the job is stressful and demanding. Yearbook students are essentially running a small business; creating a marketable product, selling and managing finances, the skills they develop are many and useful in the real world of business and design.
