Color Guard

The Mildred Color Guard is an auxilary organization that performs alongside the Mildred HS Band. Participants focus on the visual arts and use various different props such as flags, rifles and sabres. In the Fall, they perform with the marching band providing a visual representation to the music; and in the Spring, they perform at winter guard competitions either as individuals or as a team.
