  • FFA End of Year Cookout
    The FFA End of the Year Cookout will be held at the Lake Halbert Pavilion on the evening of May 30th. Everyone involved or wanting to become involved in FFA is strongly encouraged to attend! FFA members eat free and meal tickets for all others will available starting May 21st.

  • The Mildred Cheerleaders and Beck Animal Hospital will host a LOW COST VACCINATION clinic for the 4-legged members ofyour family on Saturday June 1st in front of Mildred HS & JH from 9 - noon.Cats, Dogs and Horses are welcome! Please come out, bring your critters andhelp out the Mildred Cheerleaders! Many thanks to Dr. Beck and his staff forconducting the clinic!!   • On May 23rd, Mildred ISD will offer physicals to all students who are participating in athletics next year and/or who will be participating in an extracurricular activity requiring an updated physical such as Cheer. Mildred ISD policy is to have on file physicals that are current within one year. Physicals will be $20 CASH ONLY. Each student will be provided with a packet of forms by May 10th  that MUST be completed. Please make sure all information and signatures are provided as requested. Students may return their forms and money on or before May 23rd. NO CHECKS PLEASE! Dr. Williams and his staff  of Corsicana will be conducting the physicals at MISD. They are generously donating part of the cost of the physicals back to MISD. We encourage your student to participate.   • The Mildred JH and HS Cheerleaders will host a hamburger basket fundraiser on May 24th at the Little League games at MEN Baseball/Softball Complex. There will be 3 back-to-back games and will be all  Mildred teams. We will also have snow-cones, jump house, face painting, hair coloring (spray on..) and local vendors Hamburger baskets will be $5.00 each and  will include fries and a raffle ticket to win prizes throughout the evening. Drinks, candy, etc can be purchased in the concession stand. We will start serving at 5:30 pm. Games will start at 6:00 pm. Local vendors WANTED! You may set up during the games to display and sell your treasures!!  A small set up fee donation to help support our Cheerleaders will be appreciated.   Please contact either Jamie Kitchens kitchensj@mildredisd.org  or 903-875-9629 or contact Julie Waller at wallerj@mildredisd.org  for details.  Please mark your calendars and come out and support our Mildred Little League and JH and HS Cheerleaders.
