Hello Eagles,
You are probably aware that Navarro County, along with many others in North Central Texas are under at Tornado WATCH until 7:00 PM. I have  received a call from Eric Meyers from the Navarro County Office of Emergency Management this morning and  he is in contact with the storm prediction specialist from all over the state. He will be in a conference call with the State Storm Prediction Specialists very shortly.  Should there be any important weather updates and information that all of the school districts in Navarro County need to know, Eric will contact me to push out the information to all Navarro County schools.  So please know my office and the Navarro County Office of Emergency Management are working very closely together. Again, feel secure that Mildred Eagles are being watched over - by Eric Meyers and the NC Office of Emergency Management, by your Principals, myself, and most importantly, the Good Lord is watching over us. I will be awaiting updated information for us from Eric and rest assured, all decisions made will be with the utmost priority for the safety of our students and you at heart.

The Mildred Cheerleaders and Beck Animal Hospital will host a LOW COST VACCINATION clinic for the 4-legged members ofyour family on Saturday June 1st in front of Mildred HS & JH from 9 - noon.Cats, Dogs and Horses are welcome! Please come out, bring your critters andhelp out the Mildred Cheerleaders! Many thanks to Dr. Beck and his staff forconducting the clinic!! The Mildred JH and HS Cheerleaders will host a hamburger basket fundraiser on May 24th at the Little League games at MEN Baseball/Softball Complex. There will be 3 back-to-back games and will be all  Mildred teams. We will also have snow-cones, jump house, face painting, hair coloring (spray on..) and local vendors Hamburger baskets will be $5.00 each and  will include fries and a raffle ticket to win prizes throughout the evening. Drinks, candy, etc can be purchased in the concession stand. We will start serving at 5:30 pm. Games will start at 6:00 pm. Local vendors WANTED!
